Pat Gurren

Prior to starting his own consulting company in 2004, Pat held a number of senior Compensation & Benefits (C&B) positions with several leading multinational Companies including Intel, Motorola and Digital. During his ten year tenure with Intel, Pat held positions as C&B Manager for Ireland, Asia Regional C&B Director, Europe Regional C&B Director and Global Head of C&B Operations.
Since founding Gurren Compensation, Pat has worked with over 200 clients across all industry sectors on the design and implementation of reward strategies that effectively align reward programmes with business strategy and organisational goals. Pat is a certified Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), a Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP), a Certified Senior Rewards Professional (CSRP) and a Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD). Pat is a teaching faculty member at Worldatwork, the global total rewards association. |
Sarah Murphy

Sarah has over 21 years’ experience across finance, reward and mediation. Most recently, she was Head of Reward at EY Ireland, where she led the firm’s reward, wellbeing and recognition agenda for 4,500 employees. Prior to EY, Sarah held finance and reward roles across engineering, telecommunications, FMCG and professional services.
A reward specialist for over a decade, Sarah has extensive experience designing and delivering compensation and benefits, executive remuneration, incentive plans, pay governance, job architecture, recognition and reward transformation programmes. She partners with senior leaders to develop reward strategies that support business performance, attract and retain talent, and enhance employee engagement. Sarah is also a qualified mediator with a particular interest in workplace conflict resolution and building positive working relationships. |
